Durgaa Pujaa 2025

Image
Here are all the photos of our hopping of Durga Puja 2025, with husband and friends. We enjoyed the pandals and Durga Mata idols of Behala, Tollygunge and other sides. All the decorations were very catchy and done by a lot of effort. We enjoyed at mela - phuchka, papri chaat and ice cream. We had fruit juice as you see in the picture, and got to view a Shitala Mata Mandir where the idol has grown bigger from a very ancient time. We got to see Four handed Maa Durga called BHARAT MATA DURGA near Behala. We went to Diamond harbour on a long bike ride and enjoyed whole night journey. At restaurant we had dinner. Saptami, Astami and Nabami - the all three day enjoyment is a mesmerizing memory now. Hope coming years all will be beautiful like now.

How to learn proper Bengali and Hindi

Bengali is my mother language and Hindi is the National language of India.  Speaking any language properly, is very much dependent upon communication, interaction with the language and its native speakers.  In which community you live helps you to speak that language fluently,be it your mother tongue or other family of language. Writing Bengali or Hindi depends on the study of alphabets and grammar. You can learn Bengali and Hindi more fast if you have passion for them.  Sanskrit is the mother language of Bengali and Hindi. Bengali literature is so rich that it attracts even the foreigners to realise and study it more deeply. Bengali songs and singers have won international respect and so is the case with Hindi. It's a deeper ocean that one have to dive into to feel the charm o...

The Arandhan Day 2025

Image
This time we celebrated the worship of cooking that is ranna pujo. Arandhan at the day of Vishwakarma Puja is very much popular in Bengal community. This day we don't cook or use the fire and worship the earthen oven. The panta vaat that is rice soaked in cold water and fried vegetables, coconut fry, daal chachchari all are cooked on the previous day and served to the guest at the day of Arandhan. I and my husband along with friends went to another friend 's house to meet together on this auspicious day. We had a lot of fun. Have the prasad and all the items eating together.  We all chatted, sang different kinds of songs,my husband sang with track and mouth piece and I danced Rabindrik nritya at the party. We went there at afternoon and returned home at 9 pm evening.  The day became memorable really.
