Tasty Cabbage Paste (Recipe)
Things needed -
Chopped and boiled cabbage and potato, black cumin seeds, methi ( Fenugreek)seeds, sugar,salt, turmeric powder, white cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, kashundi (mustard sauce), tomato ketchup, chilli powder,very little refined oil.
Process -
Smash the boiled cabbage and potato,make a smooth paste, in the frying bowl pour a little refined oil and turn on the gas oven. When the oil gets hot put a few black cumin seeds and methi seeds and ginger garlic paste as phoron ( condiments).
Then pour the paste in it ,stir with a spatula or khunti. Add salt, sugar, coriander powder, cumin powder, Dhaniya powder, chilli powder and a little turmeric powder. Stir the whole thing in medium flame. The water will be dried up . Then add kashundi (fermented mustard sauce) and tomato ketchup. Make a tight dough by stirring it constantly.
Serve with white rice or roti. It's a very delicious item with good food value.
