Sujir Upmaa (Recipe)
Ingredients - Suji ( it's called Rava made from coarse flour),chopped vegetables like onion,beans, potato, capsicum, chilli, tomato, carrot,fried nuts, Salt, sugar, refined oil, little water. Process - Fry dry suji or Rava particles in a frying bowl or pan, then put it differently. Then pour a little refined oil in the frying pan or koraai. Fry the chopped vegetables for few minutes. Don't fry much. Add the dry suji and salt with sugar. Add fried nuts differently. Move or stir it deeply with a khunti (spatula) or laddle. Sprinkle water in between stirring the whole material. Take a bit to taste whether it has been boiled or not. It should not be clumped with much water. If all the things are correct then Upmaa is ready. Serve it with Tomato ketchup. It's a very easy, tasty and nutritious dish as breakfast.
