New year 2026 (1st January)


 At the advent of the year 2026, I am Saluting the person who created a strong base for his daughter. He is my father Debdut Gupta,1st January is his Birthday. His earthly body has perished in 2022. But his Soul is always in search of his daughter 's well being and success. 

He never pressurized me to do anything in life and provided all the freedom and patronage in whatever I wanted to do. His money power was limited,but within short limit he went out of his ways to meet his beloved daughter 's end.

A slim, pinkish complexioned, sharp featured, standard height, Curly black thick haired handsome person who was a devotee of Music for which he dedicated his total life. His Golden voice reminds Hemanta Mukhopadhyay and the passion of his voice and dedication is incredible. Once in a lifetime he composed a song on Hemant Kumar with heart touching lyric and tune.Only one harmonium was his regular companion.

Being an English Honours Graduate he got State Government Job at a very early age. His dream was to achieve Doctorate degree in English and become a professor of it. But being an elder son of lower middle class family he was bound to hold the job which caused great frustration and dissatisfaction within him.

He was as genius a writer in both Bengali and English,as any great writer is. In his official letters he supported many officers to arrange the proper action for his colleagues always.His draft used to be brilliant with appealing English terms which no upper most persons could deny. He retired in 2013 at the post of Head clerk cum Accountant at Saltlake irrigation department.

He was A Tremendous Sports and yoga person who adored various kinds of Outdoor Games specially cricket. He maintained the captainship in his office team and home area. He was a good yoga student and maintenance of yoga was his habit.

Some unutterable hazards caused tremendous struggle and hardship to his life which he fought with the help of his wife and daughter and other family members.
Since his childhood he faced various health issues - pneumonia,bronchitis,piles, Dysentery, scoliosis,nerval disorders, sleep disturbances and psychotic problems. He received constant support of her mother Komola Gupta at young age and later his wife Shyamali Gupta dedicated her life to take care of him.

Being the only daughter I couldn't fetch huge money for him but tried hard to help him as per my condition. 
He was a Bipolar person who passed away on 24 th May, 2022. He was born after 12 o'clock of 31st December; So we celebrate the 1st January as his Birthday ,ever memorable.

This Blog Post is dedicated to him and I pray for his peace and rest at Gandharva lok ,the divine place for passionate Artists ever.
He comes in my dreams and communicates which ushers great satisfaction to me.

His recorded songs from stage shows and homework is still alive in YouTube. He has mesmerized his audience doing over 100 stage performances.
He Also was Natural Actor who was offered telefilms and NAYAK - GAYAK at Jatraapala of village.Many cassette company was eager to publish his songs but it could not happened due to shortage of money they demanded.

A Memorable Marriage

  My husband's head assistant Sukanta recently celebrated his sister's marriage where we all were present from my husband's side.  The marriage hall was very gorgeous and a lot of people coming there. That evening was really special. Special starters like Momo both chicken and veg, crispy paneer,fuchka coffee all we enjoyed. Peas kachuri,chana daal,polau, chicken and paneer for veg were arranged. We spent almost 4 to 5 hours there then got back to home. Sutapa and Utsav reception party was the next charm. There we reached at 8:30 pm. Veg and chicken pakoda with coffee and fuchka was welcome items. We blessed the bride and groom whole heartedly.  There too we enjoyed the same kind of food mentioned above. Sutapa and Utsav were looking bright in their beautiful dresses. All our closer aquintance were present there.  These two days party with my husband is really memorable for me.

MY MOTHER

 My mother Shyamali Gupta is a person to be mentioned and respected. A hardcore believer of God with spiritual strength and soft heart. Being philanthropist by nature she faced a lot of Struggle after marriage. She faced a lot of hardship in a hostile atmosphere.With her inner strength and courage she crossed every hurdle winning God's love and blessings. A hardcore believer of Astrology, everytime she speaks of Prarabdha and karma.Man makes his own destiny- this is the mantra of her life. Later she became the disciple of kashipur Udyan bati Swami Ranganathanandaji . A huge number of people rely on her strength and kindness.Being her only daughter I love her a thousand times more than the humanity. Lakshmi Puja at Our Home 2025

MATA LAKSHMI KEPT AT KUMORTULI  BROUGHT  AT HOME AND DECORATION DONE. SINDUR KHELA  THE PUJA IS GOING ON  OUR REGULAR RITUALS  BORON OUR DECORATION  ALPANAAS   THE BOOFEY FOOD VALLEY  THE  LIGHTING DECORATION  THE MOCKTAIL COUNTER  PUJA AND PARTY GOING ON SIMULTANEOUSLY . THE IMMERSION     The Days spent  This year we worshiped Mata Lakshmi with a gorgeous puja as our family tradition goes like this. It was a Three days packed up program.  At kumortuli we went to receive the idol at the night before Kojagori Lakshmi Puja. Decorators and caterers took the responsibility to manage the whole project. My husband took all the initiatives,His close friends and I was constantly by his side, supported him enough to our extent.
