The celebration of Kojagori Lakshmi Puja at our home is an age old tradition. This year also my husband took the responsibility to worship Mother Lakshmi and initiated a grand Party on that day.We took the Idol from our nearest kumorpara. And enjoyed the journey a lot. All of our friends and relatives were invited to join that grand occasion.Previous seven days of Lakshmi Puja I was very busy to arrange all the things with my husband,so I couldn't write blog topics for my readers. I say sorry for that.  আচ্ছা , সূর্য কি সত্যিই একদিন নিভে যাবে? পরিবেশ উষ্নায়ন কি কোনও ভাবেই কমানো সম্ভব হবেনা ? সকালে উঠে সূর্যোদয় দেখতে পাবো না , এমন দিন কি আসছে ধেয়ে ? তবে যে পরিবেশ বিজ্ঞানিরা বলেন , পৃথিবী আর বাসযোগ্য থাকবে না ! আমাদের অস্তিত্বের সঙ্কট অবশ্যম্ভাবী । কি করে বাঁচবে মানব জাতি এর হাত থেকে ? কোনও কি উপায় নেই ? শেষের দিন যেন ধেয়ে আসছে । দিন যত এগোচ্ছে তত বাড়ছে গরম । টিকতে পারছে না কেউ । গরমে প্রান হারাচ্ছে অনেকেই । তীব্র তৃষ্ণা সহ্য করতে না পেরে বিনা দোষে লুটিয়ে পড়ছে প্রান হারিয়ে অনেক নিস্পাপ মানুষ । তাই সময় এসেছে সকল বিলাসিতা বিসর্জন দিয়ে শুধুমাত্র বিশ্ব উষ্নায়ন মোকাবিলা করবার চেষ্টা করার । পৃথিবী তে গাছের পরিমান বাড়ানো ছাড়া আর কোনও বিশেষ উপায় আছে বলে মনে হয়না । এদিকে লোকসংখ্যা যত বাড়ছে গাছ কেটে সভ্যতার উন্নতি হেতু বাড়িঘর বাড়াতেও হচ্ছে ক্রমশ। কে জানে কি ভাবে এই অবস্থার মোকাবিলা করা হবে ? এয়ার কন্ডিশন মেশিনের গুরুত্ব বাড়ার সাথে সাথে বাড়ছে ঘরের বাইরের আবহাওয়ার তাপমাত্রাও । শান্তির দিন যেন নিঃশেষিত হয়ে আসছে । অন্তত পরিবেশ বাঁচাও স্লোগান না তুলে প্রত্যেক মানুষের উচিত ব্যাক্তিগত ভাবে ছোট হলেও...

 Pranam Maa Durga, I have got a new realisation this Puja days, you are really slaying all evils on Earth. I have seen light of hope beside darkness. Your Third Eye is getting active more, it's spreading energy throughout the world.  There is happiness in the air, sky-blue clouds are smiling and shining in the sky. Children are enjoying the Puja days 2023 , specially I am feeling good about myself. In my life your blessings have started doing miracles which I never expected before.   Paper Quilling Art is a special type of ornamental craft technique which looks very beautiful and needs a lot of good handwork. Colourful paper strips, glue and a quilling needle are the key ingredients . This art is very gorgeous for wall decor and paper jewellery , photo frame making etc. You have to take colourful papers and cut them into narrow and long strips and take a needle specially made for quilling work. Take any paper strip and start winding it. After that with the pressure of hand shape up the piece as square or round or triangle or any other shapes .The inner part remains quilled. Then stick the quilled piece on your designing board as per the design you are going to make. It takes time to complete the whole design.  The piece of quilled paper strip is called a coil.The coil gets completed by sticking the end part to its body with glue.  There was a mystic waterland where the sky had a beautiful smiling face. It used to talk with the Trees and water. There the waves were pink in colour ,used to rush to the shore. And a piece of small land shone silvery because of the beautiful white Moon. The land was unknown to human race, even birds and animals never could reach the place. The nature there spoke about themselves and were very happy,pure and perfect. The place was named UNTRODDEN UTOPIA.   One day the sky said "we all are so pretty and peaceful,we should prevent the human reach this ground." The Moon agreed and shone more brightly. THE DANCE PERFORMANCE   I performed a Special Dance which I think should be mentioned in my Blog. Since a very long ago I was planning to compose a Dance on the Old Mahabharat Title Song of Doordarshan channel. Everyone in YouTube is performing the dance on the title track of the Star plus new Mahabharat that is " Hai Katha Sangram ki ". But I preferred the Song " Atha Shree Mahabharat Katha" with the Geeta Shloka "Sambhabami Yuge Yuge". But I was not getting the right mood.  Finally on 6th October,Friday,2023 I got the mood and dressed myself up in a kurti and leggings and light makeup with minimum jewellery. Played the song in Home Theatre Box from a mobile and in another mobile I shot the video. In my drawing room I performed an on spot composition of the above mentioned Song.  Jewellery is a must wear with fashionable garments. Junk jewellery, Ethnic Design jewellery all I love the most. But normally I wear a minimum amount of jewellery and love to remain free and natural. But on special occasions I spend time on purchasing and wearing matchful ornaments with the costume I am wearing. Here are some examples of my ornament collection which I cherish a lot. These are my favourite touch ups for party and pujadays.For western style I use a piece of metal or oxidised earrings and Wristlet and neck chain. For Indowestern I choose suitable jewellery for the particular dress I am wearing. And for Indian costume or saree I take Gold-plated or Silver jewellery which are reasonable in price. But when I remain almost less ornamented I feel best. So, for a very few hours I take jewellery on my skin. I like rare and tribal designs and experiments on costume jewellery.  কাশের দোলায় পুজোর গন্ধ । নীল আকাশে পেঁজা তু্লোর মত মেঘ । আর কিছুদিন পরেই আকাশবানী তে প্রচারিত হবে বীরেন্দ্রকৃষ্ন ভদ্রের মহালয়া । শুরু হবে দেবীপক্ষ । মা আসছেন । পুজোয় নতুন জামার আনন্দের পাশাপাশি মন কেমন করা একটা অনুভুতি । যা বোধহয় আজ অবধি কেউ ভাষায় প্রকাশ করতে পারেনি । " শুভ্র শঙ্খ রবে " এক অনন্য অনুরণন । অল্প কটা দিন কেমন ভাবে কেটে যায় তা বোঝার উপায় নেই । দেবী দূর্গার বোধনের সাথে সাথে গতিশীল আনন্দময় হয়ে ওঠে জীবন । দেশ কালের গণ্ডি পেরিয়ে তার ব্যাপ্তি আজ সারা বিশ্বময় । যার অল্প কিছু সম্বল সেও আনন্দে আবেগে আত্মহারা । মা দূর্গার আশীর্বাদে ধরনী সেজে ওঠে নতুন সাজে । চারিদিকে শুধু পূর্ণতার আনন্দ । এমনি কিছু মুহূর্তে মনে পড়ছে বাবিমনির (বাবা) কথা । আজীবন সঙ্গীত নিবেদিত প্রান সেই মানুষটি ছিলেন মহালয়ার পাগল শ্রোতা । ভোর ৪ টে বাজলেই জোরে চালিয়ে দেবেন রেডিও । নিজে তো শুনবেনই, সঙ্গে সারা বাড়ির লোককেও মাতিয়ে দেবেন " বাজলো তোমার আলোর বেণু " রবে, মাতাবেন সারা ভুবন । আজ তিনি আমাদের মধ্যে নেই । তাই মহালয়ার সকালে আমি আর মা সবচেয়ে আগে মনে করবো তাঁকে । যার সংস্কৃতিময় আত্মা আজও অমর হয়ে আ...
