MY ART BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

I started a small Art business with a small investment in 2005. My raw material was Paper pulp made from old Newspaper soaked in water and then mixed with DDL binder. The Dice to take out the shapes you are watching in the photographs was old tiffin boxes, plastic mug, jug , bottle half cut etc.

First I made paper mache and smeared mustard oil allover my dice. Then pasted paper mache all over the Dice. After a few days of drying the beautiful holding shapes came out which I stuck on a base made by mountboard or Masonite board and coloured and designed from imagination. The complete works were used as mobile stand, pen stand, paper holder flower vase , show piece etc. They were sold starting from Rs 10/- to Rs 200/-.

I got good response in my business and started spreading it home to home. I sold my small paintings, hand painted Tee shirts , battick work wall hanging, paper craft ,clay jewellery, glass painting, coffee painting and many more Artworks created by me.

I have even sold Greeting card and digital painting worth Rs 5/-.I earned upto 8000/- in my art business. But still now I don't have any personal office room to meet my clients. And also don't have my own gallery. It's my bad luck that I didn't get any room or ample space for my work.
But still I have not stopped my creation . Now I am focused on Blogging and continue Art work if order is placed by someone.
