NEAR THE SEA (MICRO STORY)

 


Near the sea there was a small sand hill. There lived a woman who used to be dressed up in blue. She used to sit on the sand hill and enjoy the beauty of sea waves coming and crushing on the sea shore. She used to spend hour after hour watching the scenic beauty and everyday she chanted prayer to the Sea God to give her a boon. The boon she wanted was to become a mermaid herself in her next birth so that she can dive into the sea and visit every corner of the deepest of the sea.

One day the Sea God appeared before her granting her most wanted boon. He said," You are living honestly and in next birth you will become a mermaid I assure and you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of every corner of the sea." 
The lady said, " Thank you God for granting my Prayer and if you want to order me something I am ready to obey it." God said," I want that you spread the message of Truth and Beauty to everyone coming near the sea, that's my order ."
The Lady promptly started following the Given Order. She started talking, she broke her silence and talked to the people visiting the sea. She preached the Grace of God she has received by living a life of Truth and Honesty and enjoying the neatness of the Nature. People being impressed by her talk started worshipping the Sea God and getting blessings from him.

Thus years passed and the lady became old. One day she died lying on the sand hill. The Sea God came at night and took her under the deep sea. After a few months a beautiful mermaid started roaming under the water of the sea. The Lady 's soul was taken and it got a birth of a mermaid as promised by Sea God. She started venturing the sea and enjoying her indulgence to the fullest. Thus the mermaid started her life and she built a Temple of Sea God under the water where a magical thing happened. If any person got drowned in the sea and his or her body somehow floated to that temple, their life was given back by the kindness of the Sea God and they used to return to normal life.

Thus enchanting occurrences made the nameless seashore famous forever. It's said that still now the mermaid is alive and she preaches the kindness of Sea God and that Temple makes the drowned and dead people alive again. But the temple name is still unknown and unwritten in the History.

Now , it's your turn to find it out ,if you ever visit that shore , do not forget to pray for wellbeing of all from the Sea God and if possible try to find out the Temple.

A Memorable Marriage

  My husband's head assistant Sukanta recently celebrated his sister's marriage where we all were present from my husband's side.  The marriage hall was very gorgeous and a lot of people coming there. That evening was really special. Special starters like Momo both chicken and veg, crispy paneer,fuchka coffee all we enjoyed. Peas kachuri,chana daal,polau, chicken and paneer for veg were arranged. We spent almost 4 to 5 hours there then got back to home. Sutapa and Utsav reception party was the next charm. There we reached at 8:30 pm. Veg and chicken pakoda with coffee and fuchka was welcome items. We blessed the bride and groom whole heartedly.  There too we enjoyed the same kind of food mentioned above. Sutapa and Utsav were looking bright in their beautiful dresses. All our closer aquintance were present there.  These two days party with my husband is really memorable for me.

DEATH OF BHOKU- My Pet Parrot

 Bhoku was my pet parrot in childhood days.I always prayed for her long life. And prayed that her death should be calm and sound when the day will come. God granted my wish. When she died. Only one day she suffered from fever. Then left us forever. But her soul was always with me. I was in 12 th standard when she died. We decorated her bed with pillows and flowers. Decorated her as a Goddess with ghagra choli, crown and other ornaments, Lying down on a small bed. Then made this tomb. With a tub, and cement, buried her. under soil where she is still lying down peacefully. With garland and diya I pay respect to her on her death day. This tomb is like a temple to me.  I cherish her memory and Much respect for her new life.

ONCE IN A SUNNY MORNING(Poem)

 Once in a sunny morning, I was playing with dewdrops, My mood was a little tensed  But I was ready to cross the fence. Sun was shining brightly,  I was trying to hold it tightly, I was hankering after an impossible thought, I wanted to catch the sun,  I was ready to brought.
