THE RED PARROT (FANTASY STORY)

Once a princess had a Red feathered parrot as her pet since childhood. When the princess grew up, she felt that her heart is in need of a prince who can marry her.

The princess sent her Red parrot in search of a prince who can become her suitor in future. The parrot flew to complete the search.

After 3 days the parrot came back with a lad who was a very poor farmer boy and not a prince. The princess got angry as the parrot didn't come back with a prince.

The princess said, " who is he? I hate him."
The parrot said,"he is your perfect suitor, I think."
The princess - " I will never marry a farmer boy, go again and find out a prince for me."

Now the lad said, " You are hating me because I am not a prince. But are you sure if a prince enters your life he will love you as much as I will?".
The princess was silent.
The parrot said, " I asked every boy I met that who will love you the most? This farmer boy answered in positive. None other."

The princess said , " But my honour will be smashed if I marry you."
The lad remained silent.

The parrot said, " everybody gets interested in me because of my red colour, and every boy gets interested in you because you are a princess. Only this boy I found exceptional because he asked me," How much your princess loves you? So , I think your need of love will be fulfilled if you marry him. Don't bother the outer show."

Now the princess got the meaning of what the parrot is telling her. She immediately changed her mind and got married to that boy. They both are living happily till date and the red parrot flew away to help others by giving his wise message to make others happy.

Actually, the red parrot was a messenger of God whose duty was to put right outlook to the people who are bewildered by the wrong thinking and pomp of the life. This angel parrot thus performing his duty properly still now, but unknown to us . We have to find out such a friend who can guide us at the time of crisis.
