How to cook Cabbage




 


Cabbage preparation is not so easy.
First, boil chopped cabbage. After full boiling,pour the cabbage water in a different bowl. 
You can drink the boiled water,it is full of vitamin.
If you keep the water with cabbage while cooking it forms gas or stomach pain.
But, the water can be used as drink or as skin Toner... it's good for skin too. You can add a little salt and lemon juice to it.


Then paste the boiled cabbage with your hand. In a korai put a little refined oil and heat it. For phoron, white cumin seeds, ginger paste, dried red chilli.
Then put potato pieces, peas,fry them.
Now pour the smashed cabbage, sprinkle salt on it ,put turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, mix it with khunti (spatula) . Add very little sugar and mix again. Add a little water,put a cover on the korai.

After few minutes the preparation will be complete. You can use Tejpatta in the phoron
And red or green tomato can boost the taste .

It can be taken with bhaat or rooti.

You can make cabbage pakoda by mixing the preparation with besan and frying it.
