Fashion design experience














My fashion design experience is a lengthy story. My grandma was a good tailor ,making ultra modern fashionable clothes. Some design she collected from her Anglo office colleagues and some were her brainchild.
Anglo pattern costume I wore a lot.

My mom is also accurate in knitting ,making designer sweaters for us.
I was fond of modelling with various kinds of costumes. 
I maintained a copy to draw fashion design works and sewed them by a tailor of Saajgoj, Paikpara and Avantika,Haatibagaan, Kolkata.

I got the piece of cloths from market and was some rejected pieces from my maternal aunty (MejoMamima). Her father was a very big costume business Holder.

Those pieces helped me a lot to go ahead with designing.

My college days were superb with ultra fashion covered body. I cut sarees to make new clothes.
My mother used to keep photos of my every Birthday with different apparels.

My Father was a very stylish person everytime wearing new gorgeous look with cheap colourful clothes.

Other family members also were interested in fashion modelling. With 5 years restlessness I convinced my Saree wearing Granny to wear Western clothes and edited the photos in Photoshop 7.

And I have habit to makeover the boys with girl look modelling.

I don't have all photos with me right now.
Here some glimpses I am showing to my readers.
My husband is also a very stylish person maintaining an angry smart look.

New year 2026 (1st January)

 At the advent of the year 2026, I am Saluting the person who created a strong base for his daughter. He is my father Debdut Gupta,1st January is his Birthday. His earthly body had perished in 2022. But his Soul is always in search of his daughter 's well being and success.  He never pressurized me to do anything in life and provided all the freedom and patronage in whatever I wanted to do. His money power was limited,but within short limit he went out of his ways to meet his beloved daughter 's end. A slim, pinkish complexioned, sharp featured, standard height, Curly black thick haired handsome person who was a devotee of Music for which he dedicated his total life. His Golden voice reminds Hemanta Mukhopadhyay and the passion of his voice and dedication is incredible. Once in a lifetime he composed a song on Hemant Kumar with heart touching lyric and tune.Only one harmonium was his regular companion. Journey of Sunil Ghosh (My maternal uncle)

 From the very 12th standard my boromama started helping my Dadaji's medicine business,SREE KAALI MEDICAL HALL at paikpara, Kolkata. At the time of enjoyment he sacrificed his time to establish the pharmacy after my Dadaji's untimely death. He became the all covering umbrella of his mother, brothers and sisters, obeying all duties, He was brilliant in academics but couldn't go for higher studies to sustain his family,when all boys of his age were playing football,he learnt how to tackle patients with proper medicine,just like a doctor. His contribution to establish his younger Brethren and sisters 'marriage and their afterlife hazards ,is completely unforgettable. But at 2014 my Mamima, his wife Ranu Ghosh died of fire accident suddenly. After that the downfall of his business started.
