USING PROPER ENGLISH

 


Normally we learn British English language in our school. But as grow up we lose the normality of reading, writing and speaking English language. English is an International language which is not easy to acquire. But if you love the language that passion will lead you to achieve perfection in any language you try to learn. Passion and interest is the key thing to go ahead with any subject.

Normally Bengali medium schools remain backward in teaching English. It's right to teach your child English from preschool training at home. Because without The knowledge of English it becomes tough to survive.

Read Little English books,and always pronounce words in a very straight forward way. You don't have to copy foreigners' pronunciation to speak in English. Learn spelling by breaking syllable of long words. 

Pronouncing the Alphabets properly and strongly will help you in future to speak with clear sound. 

Practicing translation is good but while speaking never do the translation job. Try to adopt the language as your own. Start thinking sentences directly in English,go deeper,you will start dreaming in English.

Study the grammar thoroughly and enjoy while studying. While speaking adopt a slow process,make short sentences, follow Google to know meaning of rare words. Learn from chatting with a foreign friend, take a theme,write about it and read aloud your written document. Keep in mind the idiomatic terms of English language.

If you get somebody to help you, that's very good,try to absorb the knowledge fully,read signboard and banners displayed on the road. Compare bookish language with real life usage. Be reasonable,do not panic.Use your well known words mostly while speaking.

DEATH OF BHOKU- My Pet Parrot

 Bhoku was my pet parrot in childhood days.I always prayed for her long life. And prayed that her death should be calm and sound when the day will come. God granted my wish. When she died. Only one day she suffered from fever. Then left us forever. But her soul was always with me. I was in 12 th standard when she died. We decorated her bed with pillows and flowers. Decorated her as a Goddess with ghagra choli, crown and other ornaments, Lying down on a small bed. Then made this tomb. With a tub, and cement, buried her. under soil where she is still lying down peacefully. With garland and diya I pay respect to her on her death day. This tomb is like a temple to me.  I cherish her memory and Much respect for her new life.

A Memorable Marriage

  My husband's head assistant Sukanta recently celebrated his sister's marriage where we all were present from my husband's side.  The marriage hall was very gorgeous and a lot of people coming there. That evening was really special. Special starters like Momo both chicken and veg, crispy paneer,fuchka coffee all we enjoyed. Peas kachuri,chana daal,polau, chicken and paneer for veg were arranged. We spent almost 4 to 5 hours there then got back to home. Sutapa and Utsav reception party was the next charm. There we reached at 8:30 pm. Veg and chicken pakoda with coffee and fuchka was welcome items. We blessed the bride and groom whole heartedly.  There too we enjoyed the same kind of food mentioned above. Sutapa and Utsav were looking bright in their beautiful dresses. All our closer aquintance were present there.  These two days party with my husband is really memorable for me.
