HUNGER (PICTURE STORY)


 The Very deep human hunger has been symbolised in this painting. On one side There is shown the hunger for enjoyment, luxury, satisfaction of Ego; On the other side the real hunger of our belly,the need for food, scarcity of crops creates a very deep appetite to be fulfilled but which remains unfortunately unfulfilled most of the time.

In this painting you can see, the picture of civilization; Tall buildings, Flying Aeroplane,Helecopter,well maintained surroundings. But under the world there is lust, addicted people indulging in party enjoyment, luxury, satisfaction. The Dogs are showing there violence,smoke is coming out of cigerette, bottles of wine, glass of whisky, the plenty of luxurious life style.

On the other side, there is village where the crops grow,but scarcity of food, animals looking for food in garbage bin,a boy hinting towards the extreme Bounty,his deformed body indicates the lack of nutrition. There is a plough left aside,there is deficiency of work and values. Two hungry human had is trying to grab the food first. Human bones indicate death and the appearance of the people here symbolises dissatisfaction. 

The Earth has got cracked,so ,the Warm Lava is coming out,the total Chaos of modern world is picturised sharply.The imbalance of Society is immensely felt.

Above, Sunrise is taking place but it is overshadowed by mist and clouds. The leaves of coconut trees and huts look very dry and is lacking in freshness.

The Title of the picture is very similar to a Bengali Drama "Onno chaai ,Praan chaai", that means "we need Food,we need Life". The very success of equality is very much in need.

A Memorable Marriage

  My husband's head assistant Sukanta recently celebrated his sister's marriage where we all were present from my husband's side.  The marriage hall was very gorgeous and a lot of people coming there. That evening was really special. Special starters like Momo both chicken and veg, crispy paneer,fuchka coffee all we enjoyed. Peas kachuri,chana daal,polau, chicken and paneer for veg were arranged. We spent almost 4 to 5 hours there then got back to home. Sutapa and Utsav reception party was the next charm. There we reached at 8:30 pm. Veg and chicken pakoda with coffee and fuchka was welcome items. We blessed the bride and groom whole heartedly.  There too we enjoyed the same kind of food mentioned above. Sutapa and Utsav were looking bright in their beautiful dresses. All our closer aquintance were present there.  These two days party with my husband is really memorable for me.

DEATH OF BHOKU- My Pet Parrot

 Bhoku was my pet parrot in childhood days.I always prayed for her long life. And prayed that her death should be calm and sound when the day will come. God granted my wish. When she died. Only one day she suffered from fever. Then left us forever. But her soul was always with me. I was in 12 th standard when she died. We decorated her bed with pillows and flowers. Decorated her as a Goddess with ghagra choli, crown and other ornaments, Lying down on a small bed. Then made this tomb. With a tub, and cement, buried her. under soil where she is still lying down peacefully. With garland and diya I pay respect to her on her death day. This tomb is like a temple to me.  I cherish her memory and Much respect for her new life.

ONCE IN A SUNNY MORNING(Poem)

 Once in a sunny morning, I was playing with dewdrops, My mood was a little tensed  But I was ready to cross the fence. Sun was shining brightly,  I was trying to hold it tightly, I was hankering after an impossible thought, I wanted to catch the sun,  I was ready to brought. Earth seemed a globe so hot Sun looked cool, beautiful thought Was coming to my mind  My heart became more kind. After the day the sunset came, I wished that every day it happen the same.
