A LAMP (POEM)

 I am a little lamp,
I shine, I illumine,
I shake with fear,
Of wind, my destroyer.
Mine is a short life,
Dedicated to thou,
Lighting a place auspicious
Lighting idols of God- pious.

I always need a base to exist,
Oil and diya, a bright churn,
I am used in Diwali with crackers,
I am bought from market,
made by life hackers!
My misuse cause mishaps in life,
Fire, the all-eater, sometime burn hive!

I have the harmony of beauty,
I get huge applause,
I try to obey my duty.
Burning bright I have shadows dark,
Under my flame ,the flies play game,
They come near me and die
I am awful, at the same time, shy.

I am the subject of human glorification,
Making the temple warm, is my destination,
I preserve life to its brighter Target,
But the darkness under me I never forget,
Mine is the holiness of fire,
Giving light or becoming the destroyer.

Remember, I am a little lamp to shine,
In the gorgeous Temple or festival,
My motto is to illuminate the Holy shrine.
My life exists small, with a fire flame tall,
I carry blackness with me,
Remember, I symbolise the life of thee.
