MY MULTIMEDIA TRAINING
My Drawing Teacher Shree Dipak Samanta taught me Desktop publishing at my own room. He took Rs. 100/- per month. After passing out B.A English honours in 2003, I decided to learn Multimedia. My father bought a Pentium 4 PC for me. We lived in a small rental flat at Paikpara, North Kolkata. It was very tough to set up a desktop computer in our room. But I planned a bit differently. I found out a space under our TV rack. And designed a wooden cabinet to keep the CPU , Monitor, UPS, Printer, Mouse fitfully. My mother measured my plan and ordered the cabinet to a local carpenter.
After learning DTP, I went for multimedia training in 2006. The institute name was PRECURSOR ,a private institute in Paikpara, Proprietor Tinku Das taught me Multimedia for one year,Rs. 500/- per month. The softwares were Photoshop , Corel draw , Sound Forge, Ulead video studio , Adobe After Effect, Flash, Dreamweaver,3D Max. The training was very compact and interesting. My teacher Tinku Das was a very decent person and guided me properly.
In 2002 ,I learnt basic level computer handling for Rs. 50/- per month from Shantonu Das ,at his home, in Paikpara. His centre name was MAX INFOTECH. He was very particular about mouse handling and strictly trained me how to type alphabets too.
I learnt digital painting, animation, video editing , sound editing basing on my experience and interest. I was running a small business with my graphic creation and fine art during 2008 to 2018. The above mentioned picture is done in Photoshop 7 by using gradient tool and plain brush with white colour on blue. Text layer had been used too. I believe in simple type experiment with various colour base. Greeting cards, calendar, wall painting,T shirt design all I have done in my old PC and sold them at a reasonable price. This experience has taught me many things.
