বিশ্ব জয়ের চিত্রা তুমি , তুমি যে সুচিত্রা চিত্র মাঝেই তোমায় খুঁজি , তুমি যে বিচিত্রা সব চিত্রেই বিরাজ করো তুমি বিরাজ ময়ী অভিনয়ের যাদুর ছটায় তুমি সর্ব জয়ী । তাই তো তোমায় বারে বারে প্রণাম জানিয়ে যাই তোমার মতন ক্ষমতা যেন আমিও খুঁজে পাই। কোন অনন্য সাধারন ব্যাক্তিত্বের তুমি প্রতিনিধি ? কেউ বলতে পারে না এই শিল্পী ব্যাক্তিত্বের " শেষ কোথায়" ! " ভগবান শ্রী কৃষ্ণ চৈতন্য " দর্শনে ভক্তের চোখে নামে শ্রাবনের ধারা , প্রকৃতি মায়ের রূপ ধরে বিষ্ণুপ্রিয়া পৃথিবীর গায়ে টেনে দেয় সান্ধ্য আচল, তখনি আসে " শ্রাবন সন্ধ্যা " । পুনরায় দিনকে ফিরিয়ে আনতে , সূর্যের শেষ আভা টুকু সাক্ষী থেকে যায় , পৃথিবী সূর্য কে বলে ,এই আভাটুকুই " আলো আমার আলো "। সূর্য যতই অস্ত যাক, কোন দিন ই শেষ হয়না পৃথিবী সূর্যের এই " চাওয়া পাওয়া " । দিবানাথ কে প্রদক্ষিন কারী পৃথিবী সাত যুগ পরে হয় "সপ্তপদী", আমার কথায় " সাত পাকে বাঁধা ", সকলের চোখে লাগিয়ে ধাঁধা ! অদৃশ্য বাজিকর তার খেলা দেখিয়েই চলে, ভালোই লাগে দীঘির কমল গুলো " কমল লতা " হোলে , কোন শিল্পীর তুলির টানে আসে...

 In my School Days I used to celebrate Christmas on 25th December every year.With a lots of love and wishes I created Thermocol Church, Christmas dolls ,Trees,Santa Claus and obviously I memorised Rina Brown and Krishnendu of SAPTAPADI on this auspicious day. I bought a plastic bike and took two Dolls ; one boy one girl and dressed them in black suits,made them sit on the bike with gardar. They looked like The SAPTAPADI couple as seen in the picturisation of the song "EI POTH JODI NA SHESH HOY". One more doll Dressed like RINA BROWN in the song "ON THE MERRY GO ROUND" was there. I  decorated all my creations very effectively at one corner of my grandmother 's room. Other Christmas decorations were also done with authenticity.   I went to North Bengal, Shiliguri , to attend my uncle's marriage in 1997. I went with my Grandmother Komola Gupta and Dipali Sengupta, Uncle Agradut Gupta , Aunty Shuvra Gupta and cousin Debraj Gupta. My dearest teddy bear Atoshi was always with me.This photograph is taken on Darjeeling mall. We stayed there and enjoyed my uncle's marriage in a Christian community. For one day we went to visit Darjeeling. It was summer so we missed the chance to enjoy Snow there. It was my first time visit to hills,so I was thrilled. My cousin Debraj and me rode on horseback and walked through the mall.  She is no more on the Earth. But her presence is felt by me every day. In 2019 December she attempted suicide due to her personal problem which was too overwhelming for her . She left behind the childhood memories for me.  Living in the same house, we were neighbour,she was to close to me since birth. We became sisters without any blood connection. The name jhimli was given by my grandmother Dipali Sengupta.Her original name was Nabanita Dutta, nickname was Tatun called by her mother. She was 3 and half years younger than me and called me RANI DIDI. I felt better every time whenever got her company.She was good in mathematics and studied zoology at honours level from laketown girls college.Then she plunged into the course of earning money. She started doing beautician course and physiology training very early. And got accomplished in recovering bed ridden patients by pressure point message and physiotherapy. দুই বন্ধু জন আর ফ্রেড । দুজনেই খুব সাহসী , গিয়েছিলো পাখি শিকার করতে , জঙ্গলের ধারে । অনেকদিন আগের কথা বলছি । এই গল্পটা ভারতবর্ষের নয় । বিদেশের । জন আর ফ্রেড দুজনেই ব্রিটেনের ছেলে , পড়াশুনায় তারা যেমন ভালো তেমনি ওরা শিকার করতে ওস্তাদ। জঙ্গলে জঙ্গলে শিকার করে বেড়াতে ওরা ভালোবাসে । এমন বহু জায়গায় বহুবার একসাথে রাত কাটিয়েছে ওরা । শিকার করতে গিয়ে এবার যে জঙ্গল টায় ওরা গেলো সেটা খুব গভীর জঙ্গল। পাহাড়ের কোল ঘেসে, সবুজে ঘেরা । দূর থেকে দেখলে আর চোখ ফেরাতে ইচ্ছে করে না । জন আর ফ্রেড অল্পবয়েসি দুটি ছেলে । শিকার করতে করতে ওরা গভীর জঙ্গলের শেষপ্রান্তে চলে এলো । খেয়াল ই নেই । রাত তখন ১০ টা ।ঘন অন্ধকার । চাঁদের আলো ছাড়া সেখানে কোনও আলো নেই । নেই শহরের রাস্তার ইলেক্ত্রিক এর আলো । এমনি ভাবে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে ওরা দেখতে পেলো বড় একটা বাড়ি । বাড়িটার গা দিয়ে গাছপালা গজিয়েছে । দোতলা বড় বাড়ি । দেখে মনে হয় , কোনও সময় এ অঞ্চলের বড় নাম করা কোনও ব্যাক্তির বাড়ি হবে । কিন্তু এখন ভাঙ্গা বাড়ি হয়ে পড়ে আছে । জন আর ফ্রেড ঠিক করলো সেই রাত টা ওই বাড়ি তেই কাটাবে । ইচ্ছে হলেই তারা জঙ্গল থেকে বেড়িয়ে যেতে পারতো । কিন্তু দুই বন্ধ...

আজও তবু মিটলও না সাধ, বহুপুজা সাধলও যে বাধ, কবিতার খাতা যেন পড়ে রয় পাশে- 'ঈশ্বর' নামেতে মোরা বাঁধা নাগ পাশে, ফুল তুলে গাঁথি মালা, কার তরে কে বা জানে; মর্মর মূর্তির দিকে তাকাই যে ত্রাসে ! পূজাই তো বলি তবে, কারে ডাকি কে বা রবে ; আল্লাহ তুমি যে মোর রও আশেপাশে । তাকিয়ে স্বর্গ আকাশে, খুঁজি যারে আজও, সেই নিরাকার ঈশ্বরের স্মৃতি যদি আসে , সেই যে নিজের ঘর, ভুলে আজ ধরিয়াছি নব কলেবর- বহু দেবতারে বানায়েছি আশে । কিছু লাভ কিছু ক্ষতি ,রইলো যে বিচ্যুতি, চাওয়া পাওয়া ভুলে আজি, একেশ্বর নামেতে পুস্প ডোরে বাঁধি তব সাজি। ISHWAR - AUDIO

সুন্দর একটা ঝিল । কতরকম পাখি আসে । বিদেশী সব পাখি। ঝিলটার গা দিয়ে ছোট্ট টিলা পাহাড় । পাহাড়ের পেছনে জঙ্গল।জঙ্গল থেকে শোনা যায় হাতির ডাক। - এই হোল দিনের বেলার বর্ণনা । কিন্তু রাত নামতেই পালটে যায় এই পরিবেশ । ঝিলের সব পাখি উধাও হয়ে যায় । কিন্তু তবুও শোনা যায় বন্দুকের আওয়াজ । শিকারি রা শিকার করতে আসে এই জঙ্গলে ।মাঝরাতে ডাইনি যাদুকরী দের আনাগোনা এই ঝিলে , পাহারে, জঙ্গলে - যেন মায়াবী কোন দেশ । রুপকথার গল্পে আমরা যেমন রাজপুত্র রাজকন্যা দের কথা শুনি, তেমনি ডাইনি যাদুকরী দের কথাও শুনি ।এই জঙ্গলেই থাকতো বাবা ইয়াগা নামে এক ডাইনি । যাদুবিদ্যায় সে সকল কে বশ করে রাখতে পারতো । হঠাৎ একদিন সেই বনে এলো এক রাজপুত্র । কোন সে অচিন দেশ থেকে এলো সে কে জানে ? ডাইনি বাবা ইয়াগা এক রাজার কন্যা কে হরণ করেছিলো, তাকে উদ্ধার করতে ।  - এই টুকু গল্পই পিয়া শুনছিল ঠাকুমার মুখ থেকে । আসলে পিয়া ছোট থেকেই গল্প শুনতে ভালোবাসে । তার ঠাকুমা তাকে নানান রুপকথার গল্প শোনায় । একদিন মাঝরাতে পিয়ার ঘুম ভেঙ্গে যায় । সে জেগে উঠলো  । ঠাকুমা তো কখন পিয়া কে গল্প শোনাতে শোনাতে ঘুমিয়ে পড়েছেন । পিয়া শুয়ে রইলো জেগে । হঠাৎ দরজায় কড়া ...

  My grandmother Komola Gupta was an intelligent and beautiful lady who was a Central Government Job holder in Telephone Bhavan and worked their for 40 years.  At the very last stage of life she was suffering from a severe problem. At the age of 80 she underwent 4 operations at Dumdum Eve's Nursing home , Dreamland Nursing home and Sanjivani Nursing home. After that she carried colostomy bag at the waist. Thus the days were running but I was adamant to have a photoshoot of fashion modelling of her.  But I couldn't manage to make her agree for that.  But somehow She agreed atlast. I gave her a few western costumes of mine to wear . At first she felt shy because she was habituated wearing sarees. But I took the effort to put on the dresses on her slim body. first I wrapped a long cloth around her waist to protect the colostomy bag.And successfully took the snapshots in a normal Kodak KB 10 camera. There was a reputed cultural Institute named NRITYAGEET in a specific locality of Kolkata. The daughter of a Rich person was its owner. Her name was Madhurima. Madhurima was trained in Bharatnatyam Dance since her childhood. She was the youngest daughter of her parents. Her mother pampered her talent much. After completing training in dance she started private tutions and later opened a dance school in her own house. She also owned the business of her father. She got invitation for judgement in a foreign  country .But her father was very strict,he didn't permit her to go abroad. Madhurima composed creative dance and started arranging stage shows where she performed along with her students. But nepotism culture was very prominent in Those stage shows. Madhurima always gave main roles to her two niece named Mohini and Mini. She always highlighted her own talent and her family members in the Show and boasted of her talent and money.  By my birth I am a Bipolar person. Very introvert and creative natured having huge energy, sometimes being hyperactive. Born in a very middle class family I got a very small space to live in.But all family members were very supportive, loving and caring. My father was a government service holder.My father was a Bipolar too. He had a huge musical talent. My childhood days have been very hectic because I hated schooling but had to go for it regularly. Normal educational system was not for me and everyone pushed me to normal schooling. I had special talents by birth .  Jewellery Design...the phrase sounds glamorous but the job is really sweat extracting. A jewellery Designer has to take the pressure of creating shapes equal by measurement.Then the colouring and Shading is done.  I am not a professional jewellery Designer but do it by Passion.The collection of these designs is done in desktop computer, photoshop 7. I have used my own concept to create them . One of my maternal uncle RAJIB DEY is a renowned jewellery Designer who appreciated my work and concepts. Wedding Tray Decoration   Wedding Tray Decoration is a very interesting job. I did it professionally though I didn't took any formal training in this subject. Here are some examples of my work. Manifold models can be created by applying folding techniques on sarees,towels, blouse, petticoat, Handkerchief,Nighty etc. A few simple decorative materials are needed for them. I invented the folds on clothes and applied properly. The dressing table made here is with thermocol and mirror. The cosmetics displayed on it are very original. The trays are bought from market.  Teddy or Swan with White towel, Peacock with Benarasi, Mongol Ghot with cotton saree, Vanity bag with silk saree , Crane with white shatin nighty, butterfly with Benarasi,conch or elephant with white Dhoti and many more models can be made .
