DANCE TRAUMA( REALISTIC STORY)

There was a reputed cultural Institute named NRITYAGEET in a specific locality of Kolkata. The daughter of a Rich person was its owner. Her name was Madhurima. Madhurima was trained in Bharatnatyam Dance since her childhood. She was the youngest daughter of her parents. Her mother pampered her talent much. After completing training in dance she started private tutions and later opened a dance school in her own house. She also owned the business of her father. She got invitation for judgement in a foreign  country .But her father was very strict,he didn't permit her to go abroad.

Madhurima composed creative dance and started arranging stage shows where she performed along with her students. But nepotism culture was very prominent in Those stage shows. Madhurima always gave main roles to her two niece named Mohini and Mini. She always highlighted her own talent and her family members in the Show and boasted of her talent and money. Madhurima kept a parrot imprisoned in small cage who was almost suffocated and this sight gave immense pleasure to Madhu,such was her nature.Thus a few years passed.

Now the real story starts. In the nearest area of NRITYAGEET, there lived a girl named Debopriya in a very old house. She was from a lower middle class family and got huge talent and creativity. Her father was a government service holder and her mother put a lot of effort to uphold Debopriya 's talent.Debopriya was getting trained in Kathak dance since her childhood. Later her parents decided to send her to NRITYAGEET for The Training of Bharatnatyam and creativity dance. Debopriya was a good student and also was getting trained in Art , music and study. Her teachers were very respectable who were nurturing Debopriya properly .

Debopriya took admission in Madhurima 's Institute. But God knows why from the very beginning Madhurima developed a negative attitude towards Debopriya. She started teaching her by rude behaviour and maintained nepotism by suppressing Debopriya 's talent. Whenever the situation came she highlighted her favourite students and her own relatives in stage shows. But Debopriya outshone others by her beauty and dancing movements; she was admired by everyone,got huge applause from Audience.But , instead of accepting her as best student Madhurima started being partial to her. Within a very short period her niece Mohini deserted NRITYAGEET and shifted to a new house with her Parents due to a family hazard. Madhurima spread a new wave of nepotism by pampering her old student named Priyana and newly admitted Monjira. The next Annual Function came where Priyana Got the focus along with Mini and Monjira. Some other students who flattered Madhurima,also got limelight in Call Shows and in a TV show hold by Kolkata Doordarshan. Thus the days were running.Madhu started using Monjira to compose creative Dance at Call Shows. Monjira accepted it without any protest.

Debopriya was getting furious due to Madhurima's behaviour but kept patience and waited for Madhurima 's transformation of mind. But basically Madhu was very egoistic, jealous and narrow minded who never bothered any good suggestion and Debopriya's precious talent. She let her students compose dance on their own but never gave outlet to Debopriya. It was quite impossible to reach her mind and satisfy her. She did all these very adamantly and she thought everything was perfect with her.

Even in regular classes Debopriya was too good remembering all the dance steps before other students. Everytime Debopriya expected response from her teacher but her patience was in vain. Debopriya 's father suggested to throw this teacher out and enter a fresh air. Though very late Debopriya kept her father's word.

After a few years of training Madhurima started taking GURUPRONAM from her students on the very Auspicious day of Bijaya Dashami making them lifelong disciples.She took GURUPRONAM from Debopriya too but denied to change her mind.Years were passing by. Madhurima got married at a matured age ,then she stopped arranging stage shows and arranged Dance Competitions for a few years to earn more money from sponsors. But here too the Nepotism culture prevailed. Behind the curtain her flatterers handled the Judgement and the judges became puppets in Madhurima's hand. Madhu's bosom friend Leela was a blind supporter of her and the Principal of the school Rupak who was an Art teacher never protested against these mistakes.

On the other hand Debopriya 's creative Frenzy was getting pent up day by day, month by month,year by year. Here are a few things needed to be explained. Debopriya lived in a very small rental flat where she had to practice dance by going to the Roof in evening. The Torturing attack of Madhurima to Debopriya left a very wrong impression on Debopriya 's brain. She was lacking confidence and autonomy to compose dance,Her Art teacher Rupak gave her the creative outlet to compose abstract themes and tried very shrewdly to make Debopriya a fat painter suppressing other talents of her. After crossing teenage Debopriya was attacked by a heat of brain due to the accumulated frenzy and energy within her body and mind ; which led to psychosis and scizophrenia atlast. She left NRITYAGEET and entered a famous Dance Academy of Kolkata under the Supervision of a South Indian Dance trainer. There she got somewhat relieved because that person was open minded who treated her properly.

He criticised Madhurima for denying to teach Ganesh Vandana at the very beginning of classical dance training and other intentional efforts Madhurima put to destroy Debopriya 's upbringing and future.

He appreciated Debopriya for the devotion to her teacher but hated the negligence Madhurima bestowed upon her.

Debopriya was suffering from behavioural disorder , neurotic attack; she had to take medicine and injection to control the problem. Her parents were almost mad because of the thing happened. They were too innocent to understand what mischief  the team was playing behind Debopriya.

Next,Debopriya started getting normal day by day but God punished Madhurima atlast. She started suffering from cancer and became deformed and decayed by body, she couldn't continue Dance and her dream institute NRITYAGEET was finally closed after a tough fight of law from her relatives ' side. Leela tried hard to keep her word to Madhurima before dying. Leela tried maintain the school but failed. PRIYANA AND MONJIRA always enjoyed Debopriya 's bad luck. But atlast Debopriya started to be relieved and composed dance on her own. Her worn out energy got back to her by God's Grace. Madhurima died very early but her supporting team continued to support her, without noticing her guilt.

Somebody informed Debopriya the whole matter.

And Debopriya decided to remain detached from them forever and was pleased and quiet finally.

Friends,This is a real life incident occurred from 1998 to 2012, in Kolkata, the Very name of the institution and the persons have been changed to Avoid legal problem because the Institution is affiliated with a Reputed Board of India.
